[windows2000] Error in Java install

Hope this is close enough to be considered proper topic. Attempted to contact
Quicken chat support
and informed necessary to have Java installed. Attempted to install. Now know
about 65MB+ so don't
know if can do on 28.8 dialup. Anyway after about an hour get following error
message:
Error 1722.There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program
run as part of the setup
did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor.
