[windows2000] AD DNS question

-New Windows 2003 Active Directory.
-BIND DNS Server with DHCP doing DDNS.
-AD does not have Windows DNS installed.

-Trying to find out if any AD specific functionality will be lost if the "My Computer" properties (of both the workstations and DC's) DNS suffix does not match the Active Directory Domain Name?
