winam 5.72 and not opening

Hi I have gotten a drop boxs link that someone posted to the list.
For win amp 5.72 and I have installed it but now when I go and launch
the win amp from the desktop it brings up the do you want this program
to make changes to this computer yes or no.
So I hit yes and nothing happens.
So how do you correct this?
And why is this happening?
