Hi, Dan, yes I did, and the streams are saved in my c:\streams folder.
Another person on another list said that when the machine re-booted,
that the file was damaged, and therefore was 0 kb. If you guys don't
mind, I have another question, and that is, that when I listen to a
stream, I don't want to have to play with the volume to hear it, I want
it to be about the same level as my mp3's, so, with this in mind, I
have all the track bars up as far as they'll go, and it sounds nice and
punchy, but don't know if I should leave those track bars where they
are, or not. I finally just put the dsp as second in command with the
what you hear check box checked, and the advanced controls checked in
the shoutcast source window, but now, find, that the edit boxes don't
read correctly, for example, the edit box that should say check box
checked, or unchecked, depending on its' state, advanced controls, but
instead, the check box reads mp3 format unchecked, or checked, and the
server control edit box doesn't read at all, and does anybody know if
this is a window-eyes problem, or what? I can't use line rec at all,
because, every time I've tried using it, I hear the voice, but it
isn['t making it to the stream. I wonder if I could find a way to send
a test mp3 to somebody, via ftp, or something like that, if they could
evaluate loudness of music, and also, microphone, and if they balance
out. Somebody listening to the stream I did yesterday said he was
impressed, but since that file is gone, there's nothing to hear from
that stream, so I made another file today that's around 18 megs. I
have never had this pc re-boot on its' own, and don't know what caused
it. This with window-eyes 4.5sp3, 192 megs of ram, a 400 megs
processor, winamp 2.92, the shoutcast plugin, version 1.80, the sqr
cross fade plugin version 1.65, and the shoutcast server, version 1.92,
though I've only done bare bones with that, such as setting up the .ini
file.
