I normally rip at the "Unlimited" speed, that comes up in the preferences,
but, please note, that this normally is only around 7 to 9 times the regular
speed, on my system, which is XP Home on a Dell 8500 (I think that's the
model); I am currently using 5.08, because, as our list moderator has said,
there are conflicts in the most recent versions. I think that if you set
it up that way, your burning speed is nearly the same (parallel). Other
people on the list might correct me on that latter point.

Hi, this is Steve with a Winamp ripping question. First of all using Winamp
Pro, I know when burning audio, it's best to burn at a lower speed for a
better burn, but when it comes to ripping, I would think that would be
different. What is anyone's experience of the ripping speed that would be
error free?
