my winamp will not go to the next track

I didn't set a stop marker, but my winamp refuses to go to the next track. I
have to manually get it to go there. As far as I know, I am using the direct
sound out pluggin. I had to reinstall winamp last time this happened. I use
winamp 5.2 and jaws 7.0 on a win xpsp2 laptop. Thanks.
