Well, based on the current operation of the Nullsoft servers, I may be
changing my recommendation to folks to go to Beta news instead. hey at
least they give you the whole file! Really, I had no idea that it was
happening to soo many people. I thought it was just a couple people who
might not've been familiar with downloading stuff, but on further
reflection and some private messages from some folks, it appears that
Nullsoft probably has some issues with their servers.

Just my 2 cents worth here... I never download new Winamp versions from winamp.com because they don't seem to handle the process well. I go to http://www.fileforum.com and snag it from there. Fileforum is the regular file sister of betanews, and they make sure files download and run correctly. They also have better response time when people have trouble. You might want to save this info for future use.
