      Hi,

Donald ‘Dj’ Bowen here from Music for Sight. I’ve joined the
winamp4theblind list at freelists to hopefully enhance my knowledge of winamp.
I use Window Eyes 7.11 and the Winamp script, version 2.8.1 on an XP SP3 Media
Center Edition pc with 3GB RAM, a couple 1TB hard drives and a couple 500GB
USB hard drives.

I have several questions and will start with album art. When I rip a CD
with WMP v.10 I get the album art files. Not so with Winamp. Two things were
suggested on another list. One being wimamp doesn’t do album art. The other
being why would a blind guy want album art… The first is probably true though
I’m hoping someone will know of a workaround. As for the second, they make a
very cool bunch of jpeg’s for the screen saver slide show that my visitors
enjoy…
