Sorry, forgot about the other part of your message. I haven't changed any drivers for my soundcard or anything. If so, and I had to call the IT people, then I'd probably be asked why I was listening to music aside from doing my work. Not going there, *smile*.

Wayne, what i would do is make sure Winamp is closed, and then go intoyour c:\program files\winamp folder, and delete your winamp.ini file. thenrestart Winamp. it'll act as if it's a brand new install, but that refreshes things. Then see if switching tracks with the letter b gives you the same error message. Winamp should not crash like that just switching ttracks manually. I got this maybe once or twice. I haven't seen this with this latest version. ----- Original Message ----- From: <mailto:wcmerritt@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>Wayne Merritt To: <mailto:winamp4theblind@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>Winamp list Sent: Wednesday, September 12, 2007 7:27 PM Subject: Problem with advancing in 5.35Hi all. I'm using Winamp 5.35 on my work machine. Today, when listening tosongs on my thumb drive, when I attempted to advance to the next track, I got one of those lovely error messages with the Send Report and Do Not Send Report buttons. It looked like one of those generic Windows error messages. This has never happened before. I've been using 5.35 for awhile now at work and haven't had an issue like this up until now. If I let the track play all the way through it would advance on its own to the next track, but if I tried to manually advance it with B, I got the error message. Any ideas? I'm using Winamp 5.35 on a Windows XP professional computer.
