I would uninstall Winamp, then reinstall it and run it and see if you still
have the same problem. I have had times when Winamp does something strange
then it'll fix itself when I reinstall it and manually put all of the
plugins back in.

Hi. If it says desktop, that's exactly where you are. You gotta trust what your screenreader tells ya. Well, most of the time anyways. Chances are you aren't in any of the Winamp windows, especially if you press your title bar read key and it says desktop.
