Hey folks I dont know if I can help you. I thought there actually was another line in plug in for winamp that came with the origional installer. It may be that he has 2 line in plug ins. Hope all is well and works out. Peace out!

Hi folks I've been helping a guy get set up to broadcast and he was able to do a few shows very successfully. But all of a sudden, his line recording plugin in Winamp stopped working, and we're still stumped as to why it's not working. So, I thought I'd send this one to you guys here and see if you can solve this one? It's the weirdest thing I've seen in a while. In a regular situation, to get the line recording plugin to work so you can do a voice break in your broadcasts, if you're using that particular method that is, the thing you would usually do is to press control plus l in Winamp, and when it asks for a location, you would type linerec://, that's l, i, n, e, r, e, c, colon, slash, slash. and when you press enter, it should show up and if you read your title bar, insert plus t with JAWS and control shift t in Window-eyes, it should say line recording. But for some odd reason, the plugin doesn't seem to be registering with Winamp. Usually you leave Winamp closed while you do this so I can understand if you kept it opened and tried to put a new plugin in there it wouldn't work, but by all accounts he's doing everything correctly but it still isn't working. He's using Vista, and the latest version of Winamp, along with the sam encoders. I hope some of you can help on this one. Thanks.
