Having Trouble With CD Setting With Winamp

In the general preferences and file types, there is a place where you are
asked if you want Winamp to start when inserting the CD. I check no on
this. But, regardless, Winamp starts playing the CD.
I have the latest Winamp version which I believe is 5.112.
Any ideas? Thanks.
