What media player do you want to use? If it is highlighting Winamp, choose
Windows media player, or Real player. And go back into the preferences of
Winamp and make sure the checkbox is indeed unchecked. You might have all
file types checked.

In the general preferences and file types, there is a place where you are asked if you want Winamp to start when inserting the CD. I check no on this. But, regardless, Winamp starts playing the CD.
I have the latest Winamp version which I believe is 5.112.
Any ideas? Thanks.
