You can't get rid of it. That is part of the program. It won't play anymore until you play something else.

David:Thank you for the instruction. I cleaned everything related to Winamp off my system and re-installed it. Presently all is working well and Song titles are appearing from CD's when they are played. Now, I can't recall how to get rid of that silly introductory file about "Winamp whips the llama's ...".Thank you again. The fact that you'vehad to upgrade is significant, as your reason for upgrading was a corrupt file. Get rid of everything, and start again. A bit of a drag I know, but probably worth the effort. Best, David. -----Original Message----- From: winamp4theblind-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:winamp4theblind-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Lois Goodine Sent: 11 May 2012 00:35 To: winamp4theblind Subject: Finding song titles when working with CD'sNo, I don't have pro. I'm just using the free version. I upgraded from anolder version I've been using for a long time. It would go to a databasesomewhere and present the titles of a CD when they were played. I wouldn't have bothered upgrading but the for fact that a file got corrupted somewhereand a few things wouldn't work anymore. Probably some service or other hasceased to be. Now the track numbers appear, but no titles. Is there a way to get this version, 5.623 to do that? Thank you. Lois Goodine.
