Accessing winamp commands.

HellO!
This question may be difficult to answer but there is one thing i really
don't understand.
FOr example, when i am reading e-mails and then would lik to jump to winamp
to fast forward through something i am listening to, how can i do that?
Which is the easiest way to do this?
