Dear Celeste,
We have one week to go.
That is right. We're almost there. It's time to start turning in your
signatures.
Please don't wait until the last minute. Half completed petitions are ok to
submit.
Bring what you have to the campaign office or call me and I'll come and get
them.
Are you interested in some free food and a pat on the back? The campaign
office
is hosting a pizza party on Thursday afternoons. Bring in your petitions and the
kids!
Do you know how much money your school would receive through the Our Children,
Our
Future initiative? Look at www.ourchildrenourfuture2012.com

Under OCOF, La Jolla High would receive about $1.6 million in the 2013-2014
fiscal
year and $2.8 million in 2017-2018. This is a game-changing initiative but we
need
your help!
We have only one week to go for the signature gathering.
This is a grassroots effort and I encourage every unit to take part in this
campaign.
The easiest way to gather some signatures and spread the word about OCOF this
week
is to speak with your friends and family. Take some petitions to family
gatherings,
soccer and baseball practice. This is Spring Break for San Diego Unified schools
with a traditional calendar and our due date is again April 10.
