VOTE:   Require the waiver (for the time being).

I don't think this will help "selling" building rentals and I have trouble
believing we can't just transfer this responsibility to whomever signs the
contract BUT I am not an attorney. So, my vote is out of ignorance.

Subject: [weca-board] Board Vote: Building Rental, Waiver vs. Insurance

Board Vote: Building Rental, Waiver vs. Insurance

This vote is for the case of an individual renting the building. Will
that individual need to purchase insurance on their own to cover the
liability on the day of their event? Or will we provide a waiver form
that every attendee will sign prior to entering the event.

I will pose the vote as in favor of the waiver or not in favor of the
waiver. In favor of implementing the waiver requirement would assume
not in favor of requiring insurance. Not in favor of the waiver would
assume in favor of requiring insurance.

Note: An individual can always to elect to purchase insurance if they
want to, but if we do not require it, I am not sure why they would.

* Please reply with one of the following:
In favor of requiring a waiver.
OR
Not In favor of requiring a waiver.

Thanks.
Rodney
