Assistant Professor (Full-Time. Tenure track)
Location: Queens College
Department: Web Design and Internet Publication

Duties:
To teach courses involving the creative use of software for web
publication and design, database management, image
manipulation and animation, scripting, and multi-media applications.
Successful candidates must specialize in interactive
media/web design with emphasis on one or more of the following areas:
information architecture; online news publication; user
interface design; digital imaging; developing online communities. The
position also requires participation in the development and
administration of the department's various degree programs. Experience
with curriculum development is desirable.
Qualifications:
Significant experience as a web publisher/editor, researcher, and/or
designer in the area of digital media; MFA or equivalent
professional experience; and teaching experience. Administrative
experience in an academic or professional setting is desirable.
Salary Range: Assistant Professor: $35,031 - $61,111
