Subject: [wdmaudiodev] Which VMware Workstation version can smoothly run Win10?

Hello!

Still unable to get smooth audio streaming in Win10x64 under VMware Workstation
8.0.6. Both 10240 and 10586 run jerkly, producing crackling audio.

All Windows versions prior Win10 work excellently under WS 8.0.6, regardless of
higher version supported officially is Win7.

Win10 runs smoothly in VirtualBox 5.0.6 and 5.0.10 too.

I have published a question in VMware Community:

http://communities.vmware.com/message/2561555

Attached a screen movie showing jerky time movement.

Can WS 8 be tuned to run Win10 smoothly? If not, which WS version can be? In
VMware Community, there are some complaints to timekeeping problems in Win10
guests under WS 10 and WS 12.

Regards,
Eugene
