[wdmaudiodev] MIDI events; To cook or not to cook?

Hello all,

This question concerns DirectMusic capture streams. The DMUS_KERNEL_EVENT
allows for both cooked and uncooked events. Would it be, in general, better
for a hardware device to send the MIDI data it receives as cooked or
uncooked events? Is the same true for received system exclusive messages?
