Thank you Kevin for your fast response. I have tested with your advice in MSDN but still the same. My USB version is below the one MS article mentioned so I tried with a workaround method but no luck for me. Even using one processor in dual-core processor machine I have the same result. Time to time I got a delayed or corrupted data inserted in USB. Not only one usb off-the-shelf product. I saw this a few other products, too. Do I need to doubt the MS USB-audio driver or my system? or something else. Thank you again. ----- Original Message ----- From: kevin molcard To: wdmaudiodev@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, August 15, 2007 12:01 PM Subject: [wdmaudiodev] Re: Added Data in USB Audio devices Hi Sam, Is this problem happening on every XP computer or just on dual core or hyper-threading computer. If it is have a look there. http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb%3Ben-us%3B919484&x=12&y=17 Regards, Kevin 2007/8/15, YoungShin SAM Yoon <ysyoon@xxxxxxxxxxx >: Hello people, I have some difficulties in dealing with the added data in USB recording. I have tested with several USB audio devices in XP and found that most of them put some added(intentional/unintentional ?? ) data in the middlle of recording. Because my company is tring to process this data with DSP algo, this delay or added data is critical in processing echo cancellation. Is there anyone who knows why it is happending and how to prevent or detect this much of delay? Is it only a problem in windows XP and will not be in Vista? Thank you,
