I am incredibly proud of our town and it's people after the vote on Thursday
night!!!!
We won a VERY hard fought battle, convinced 8 of 11 people WCS deserved to
remain open! I could not even begin to calculate the amount of effort, hours of
work, number of phone calls, emails, etc. that went into this victory...
I was shocked at how many committee members voted in favor of keeping our
little school open!
Now the work begins!
While I and others have our own thoughts on the course to plot for the upcoming
8-9 months (because that's how much time we really have left to decide our
future) we need to hear the residents thoughts and opinions!
Please email ideas, thought and opinions on our next steps.
If you think we should stay the course, then why? Jump ship? Then where do we
go? Renegotiate? Then what terms? Please, thoughtful and constructive
suggestions.
I look forward to hearing from everyone and hope more will be looking to join
our small group called the Warwick Community Education Task Force!
