Subject: Vigil to stand for humane values in Greenfield-Please pass it on
Greetings Friends and Neighbors,
I am writing to let you know of an event I am organizing in Greenfield, set for
1/28/17. I am planning on holding this type of vigil throughout the dark
winter months (Jan., Feb. & March) and hope you can attend one or more of them.
(See description below). It will be about 1/2 hour of socializing and 1/2 hour
of music/singing.
I'm also asking if you could share whatever parts of this email you want with
your networks/listserves and other possibly interested people you think of in
the Greenfield area and nearby towns (incl. Amherst, Brattleboro, Northampton,
etc,). I appreciate your support for this effort. A flyer is attached. The
yellow blurb below will be featured in the Greenfield Recorder in print and
online closer to the date.
Thank you and best wishes for more ways to enjoy love in 2017,
Anne
A "Welcome the Neighbors Candlelight Vigil" will be held on the Greenfield
Common, Saturday, January 28, 2017 from 5:30-6:30pm (snow/rain date 1/29). This
is an opportunity to stand for humane values in our inter-connected world.
Acceptance, Equality, Security, Understanding, Consideration and Trust are but
some of what all human beings need. We want these for ourselves and for
everyone. We will come together at the Vigil in welcome and song. Contact
