Hi all,
With the recent discussion surrounding the use of glyphosates, I was
astonished to discover that very few people in town have been made
aware of the dihydrogen monoxide situation in Warwick.
Dihydrogen monoxide (or DHMO) is a highly corrosive substance that can
cause severe burns, and is often used as an industrial solvent and
coolant. It is a primary constituent of acid rain, and is a major
contributor to soil erosion all around the world.
The U.S. government does not consider DHMO to be a health threat -
some municipalities even add it to their public water supply to help
maintain PH levels! But if it corrodes metal, why would you want to
put it in your body?!
It is present in the ground here in Warwick in large concentrations,
and I think residents should be made aware of the situation.
