I’ve noticed over the years that the people who are quickest to think an insult
has been flung are usually the ones who really can’t tell.

At least three of them were at the last selectboard meeting when I asked for an
explanation of the article and they all sat there dumb as posts (dumb means
silent, folks. No insult intended here.) They didn't even have the, um,
courage, to explain themselves.
