I apologize for the late response regarding toilet paper. Smile. I have found
that Cottonelle has an easy to find tab that detaches easily.
I also wanted to let you know that Kimberly Clark Corporation, which makes
Cottonelle and Scott, has one of its headquarters in Neenah, Wisconsin. They
have invited my agency and several other disability related agencies to a
disability awareness event every year. The event is meant to increase awareness
of services and increase awareness of the abilities of people with disabilities
(they are interested in hiring more people with disabilities). They also aim
for their employees to be aware of how disabilities affect the use of their
products. One of their activities is to have employees try to use their
products while using big rubber gloves to mimic neuropathy. They are trying to
make their products easy to use by everyone.

Subject: [visionrehabtherapist] Hygiene
Hello everyone,
Does anyone have a technique for disconnecting that first piece of toilet paper
on the roll? Is one brand less problematic than others?
This is a problem for all users myself included, but especially my clients with
vision loss and neuropathy.
Any other unique techniques for managing hygiene?
Debbie
