Expanding possibilities for people with vision loss




The AFB eLearning Center is pleased to announce the release of the newest 
addition to our Aging and Visual Impairment Series.

 is a 45-minute webinar discussing major eye conditions that are related to 
aging and the symptoms of each condition. Conditions discussed include:

  *   Cataracts
  *   Glaucoma
  *   Diabetic Macular Edema (DME)
  *   Age-Related Macular Degeneration (ARMD)
  *   Macular edema following retinal vein occlusion

The presenter, Zachary Robertson, M.D., discusses the most up-to-date treatment 
protocols for each condition. He also includes information about the side 
effects of the treatments and what patients may experience when undergoing them.

Dr. Robertson is a board certified ophthalmologist and current faculty member 
at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where he specializes in 
the clinical and surgical management of diseases of the retina and vitreous.

The webinar has been approved for continuing education credit by ACVREP. (CRCC 
credit is pending.) It can be purchased for $49 from the AFB

 The webinar is pre-recorded and will be available to you for a full year to 
access as often as you like when it is most convenient for you. There is no
