From; Sophos Alert System: Name: W32/Radbot-A Type: Win32 worm Date: 8 March 2005 A virus identity (IDE) file which provides protection is available now from the Sophos website, and will be incorporated into the April 2005 (3.92) release of Sophos Anti-Virus. Customers using EM Library, PureMessage or any of our Sophos small business solutions will be automatically protected at their next scheduled update. At the time of writing, Sophos has received a small number of reports of this worm from the wild. W32/Radbot-A drops and runs three files in the Windows folder: 1.EXE 2.EXE Z.BAT The file 1.EXE is detected as Troj/Istbar-AH. The file 2.EXE is detected as W32/Rbot-VN. The file Z.BAT runs the two EXE files and then deletes both the archive and itself. The worm W32/Rbot-VN attempts to spread W32/Radbot-A to remote network shares with weak passwords.
