Steve, it's called Loopazoid. You insert it like any other synth. You can then load wave or aif files into 48 slots, which will then play on that corresponding key.
You can choose outputs, change volume, pan and mute each key, plus reverse playback I think. I need to add the load/open dialog with an HSC set, all other parameters seem to be labelled and available from the parameter view, so pretty easy?

Sure! Like you say, two options are better than one. Or just tell me
what it is and I'll fiddle with it. Unless you're really into doing
it, I'm happy to have a play.

Well 2 options will be better than one anyway lol.  This allows you to load
samples into slots and then play them via the keys on the keyboard, there's
also keys to reverse the samples. So, do you want me to investigate? Steve.

Aw, ya don' wanna spill the beans? LOL. New Sforzando might be the
bomb for me. Now all I have to do is read the manual and figure out
how to encode stuff.

I've found one, but need to test it out, stay tuned.

There are. SFZed and Sforzando. But I'm trying to find ones that are
better than those, as they're way way old.

Steve, try a bit of digging, as there must be some kind of VST that allows
you to load these samples onto specific keys, then play them on a track.
I'll have a look tomorrow.

Subject: [vipaudioaccess] Samplitude and Sample Libraries

Now that most of us have been exposed to Samplitude for a while now,
I've a question, once again, about something I used to do in Sonar but
have yet to find a good analog for in Samplitude--namely, the infamous
Matrix View. I have several sample libraries with hits, stabs,
crashes, drum loops, all kinds of one-shots things, some vocal
phrases, too. What's the best thing to do with these? Make an SFZ or
SF2 file out of them and use Sforzando or SF2, or is there a better
thing to do?
