Ok JP. If you’re on parameter 01 for example, and you press 1 once, you will go
to parameter 10, as the number 10 is the next number starting with “1”. If you
press 1 5 times from the same position, (e.g. parameter 01), you would go to
parameter 14, as 10 would be the 1st, 11 would be the 2nd, 12 would be the 3rd,
13 would be the 4th and 14 would be the 5th press.
Equally, if you pressed “2”, you would go to parameter 20. Then if you repeated
the same thing as above, but pressing “2”, you would go to parameter 24, as
parameter 24 is 5 presses, (20, 21, 22, 23 and 24).
Lastly, if you press 1 again, while on parameter 20, if the plug has over 100
parameters, you would jump to 100, as 100 is the next number starting with “1”.
This is native functionality of Samplitude and nothing to do with me lol, but
it sounds more complex than it actually is IMO.
Best steve.

Steve, the funny thing is that if you press one, you will get to parameter 10.
If you press 2, to parameter 20. But if you press one again then, you will get
to 100. It's not bad, I just want to understand why it does that, and if it's
what it's supposed to do.
Cheers,

Hi JP. Yes, you’ve got it. I tried to explain in the docs, but you can also
press a number multiple times. For example, if you press 1, you’ll go to
parameter 10, press it twice, you’ll go to 11 and so on. It’s just another way,
as the page up/down has been taken over with next and previous preset. I still
need to address this with Magix, but whether or not they will re-introduce the
page up/down to move through parameters, I don’t know, as this apparently has
always been the case in the plugin view. So, they maybe want to keep it that
way.

Hey Steve,
working like a charm here !
I love the new Plug-in parameters selection, but I noticed something funny.
Pressing one takes you to parameter tend, pressing 2 to 20, 3 to 30, but then
if you press one again, you're taken to 100. You have to press 0 to get to the
first parameter again. No big deal, I just try to understand the logic behind
this.
Thanks a lot for the phase key, and for all the great work you do.
Best,
JPR

Hi folks. I’m pleased to announce that Samplitude Access V9.02 is available for
download. Please read the below information, as it’s important, but you can
grab the scripts here:
http://samplitudeaccess.org.uk/download/
Please read the included what’s new document for all the changes in this build,
but most importantly, please follow the below steps when installing these
scripts.
1, Please update your version of samplitude to the latest available version
first via the Magix auto update option in Samplitude’s help menu, or via the
update dialog when starting Samplitude if it launches.
2, Exit Samplitude and uninstall your current samplitude Access scripts via the
Add/Remove programs or uninstaller located here:
"C:\Program Files\Samplitude Access X5\uninstall.exe"
Or
"C:\Program Files\Samplitude Access X4\uninstall.exe".
Note: For users who wish to keep any configuration they’ve made, backing up
your INI files will not really be an option, as this build includes a few new
keystrokes. So, simply replacing any back up’s will mean you will overwrite the
new keystrokes. So, unfortunately, those specific configurations you’ve made
will have to be re-done, sorry about that.
One positive aspect of this build regarding installing and re-installing after
an update, is that it should no longer be necessary to ever re-install the INI
files again, unless there are changes to those INI files that require it.
Currently, after a Samplitude update, or simply if the update dialog launches,
we can lose the time display on the docker, which means the transport no longer
speaks. With the addition of being able to save and load a workspace in this
build, we can easily load a save workspace again, hence bypassing the need to
reinstall INI files…please see below.
3, Install the V9.02 build of the scripts by choosing the full installation
option.
4, Launch Samplitude and load a project or new project. Make sure you’re able
to move the transport with left/right arrows and here the time being reported.
If you can’t, please post here to report this.
5, Follow the below steps to save this workspace:
Note: This is only for X5 users, as the workspace option is not in X4.
To save and load a workspace, due the following:
Press alt plus shift plus W to open the workspace menu.
Arrow to save workspace and press enter. A dialog will open, so give the
workspace a name, (E.G. Samplitude Access Workspace) and press enter.
Note: Important, always save this file in the default location:
C:\ProgramData\MAGIX\Samplitude Pro X5 Suite\Workspaces
After saving this workspace, you can load it when needed by pressing control
plus alt plus W and selecting the workspace you saved.
So, if you ever lose the speaking of the transport, just load your saved
workspace to enable it again.
Enjoy!
Best steve.
