I think it means that Steve needs a break from all of this and frankly I
don't blame him. This next release is amazing but it has taken a lot of
sorting out as it's a not insignificant rewrite under the hood and will work
in both Windows 7 and 10 witch is really something. Further more, Steve has
been looking at other goodies such as track selection and non contiguous
track selection which you would think on the face of it would be easy to
implement but has flagged up some issues which Steve and I were chatting
through yesterday. Remember where we have come from guys. We didn't have
any access to this until July and now we really are pushing the boundaries
of what can and cannot be done.

Does this mean, basically, it's not something Steve Spamer needs? (grin)

old one again and see what happens. Regarding the new Melodyne, a
few have asked me if I'm doing anything with it, but I'm afraid
there's not enough time, desire and incentive to do it. Best Steve.

okay, I've been stupid, I mean really.
When installing pro X3 suite, I allowed it to install Melodyne as
well. I didn't care because I don't use it that often. This morning,
I discovered it had replaced my old version with the new,
inaccessible one, of course.
I still have the old installer, but Do I have to do something more
than uninstall the current version to be able to install the
previous one? Steve, do you have plans for the new one?
Thanks,
JPR
