DDP works without any scripting at all. Sure you could script the dialog
box to make it a little nicer at some point. Anyway, scripting up the DDP
dialog wouldn't take that long but sorting out Melodyne will take
significantly longer as that's a lot more scripting. In the mean time no
reason why someone couldn't get Melodyne going with HsC.

which is excellent! Please don't take my little jabs as anything but
grumpiness.
I personally would love Melodyne support within X3 and wonder if
there is more demand for it than say access to DDP creation.
Phil, have you had a play with the DDP feature yet? I'm wondering if
it works already or will need scripting. and, if it needs to be
scripted, I imagine the interest is lower than say, vocal pitch and
timing correction.

For good reason. The Samplitude scripts are taking up a lot of Steve'stime

Ummm, I thought you could have both installed? I'd just install the old one
again and see what happens. Regarding the new Melodyne, a few have asked
it
if I'm doing anything with it, but I'm afraid there's not enough time,
desire and incentive to do it. Best Steve.

okay, I've been stupid, I mean really.
When installing pro X3 suite, I allowed it to install Melodyne as well. I
didn't care because I don't use it that often. This morning, I discovered
Steve,
had replaced my old version with the new, inaccessible one, of course.
I still have the old installer, but Do I have to do something more than
uninstall the current version to be able to install the previous one?
do you have plans for the new one?
Thanks,
JPR
