I Think Mor are aware of Sequoia which Samplitude Pro X3 Suite has around
97% of in it's code base. Wouldn't surprise me if they end up coming out
with different versions of Sequoia and marketing Samplitude under that brand
instead. In fact, that would make a lot of sense to do that as Sequoia is
well known and respected by audio professionals. Have had conversations
with people that go something like this. They ask "What audio software do
you use?" I reply, "Samplitude." They ask, "what's that?" I reply, "have
you heard of Sequoia?" They always answer O yes and that's great software."
I reply, "Sequoia is like the big brother of Samplitude and around 96 97% of
Sequoia is Samplitude Pro X3 Suite which I use." Was chatting to Slau about
this on the Pro Tools Wechat group and he didn't know that Samplitude Pro X3
has around 96 97% of Sequoia in it. In fact he had no idea that Samplitude
Pro X3 Suite is basicly a slightly cut down version of Sequoia. Have toyed
with the idea here of moving to Sequoia but don't know how much coding that
would cause Steve to have to alter. I suspect not much but as I haven't
actually looked at it I really couldn't say. I know Len has had the same
thoughts.
