Hi Aedan and Paul,Thanks for your help and advice. I tried these out but no luck. So I contacted my mobile provider Vodafone technical support and after a number of phonecalls and the help of my son I got it sorted out. The problem was that my e-mail address was not compatible with the iphone for sending messages. I could receive messages ok. I changed my e-mail address to a google one and all is now working.
Thanks again for your help. Regards. Niall----- Original Message ----- From: "Aedan O'Meara" <aedanomeara@xxxxxxxxx>
