From an accessibility point of view, in that line the Galaxy S6 would be
better, although more current (therefore pricier). There’s quite a bhit of a
learning curve for blind folk when learning the Android system (or Samsung’s
version thereof), perhaps more so coming over from iOS; the gestures aren’t
exactly as good - seem to me to be more hit-and-miss – than on iOS. It’s been
said that our best/more straightforward options are to go with a ‘pure
Android’ experience. I spent a few hours trying to get to know an S5. It’s not
bad; but it’s not easy. The screen would lock up on you after a certain amount
of time inactive, and you can’t stop that. (You can however lengthen the time
interval.)
