Hi Susan My instructions may have confused you. When you have the cursor on the topic you want to read, press the enter key This will open the topic you want to read. Now, press f6 and you should be able to read the help topic. Hope this works Joan Ann.----- Original Message ----- From: "Susan Curry" <SusanCurry@xxxxxxx>

hi Joan, many thanks for that, however when I hit f6 on a subject that I have my curser on it just goes to the first item listed in the contents which is introducing outlook express, no matter what I select, hope this is clear to you as I'm not very good at explaining just exactly what I mean. I'm pretty sure its me not doing some thing right, probably some thing quite simple. susan----- Original Message ----- From: "Joan Ann Brosnan" <kerrygirl18@xxxxxxxxx>To: "vip_students" <vip_students@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, July 12, 2007 5:23 PM Subject: [vip_students] Re: help f1Hi Susan When using the help feature in outlook express, do the following: 1. Press f1 2. Use the down arrow key to read the different help topics. Some of the topics have sub-sections where jaws will say for example "reading e-mail messages" closed. To find out what topics are available in that section, you press the right arrow key and then, use the down arrow key to see what information is available. 3. When you find a topic that you are interested in, press the enter key when you have the cursor on it. Then, press f6, and use the up and down arrow keys to read the information. 4. Press the f6 key again to get back to the list of topics. 5. Press alt and F4 to exit help. Hope this helps Joan Ann.----- Original Message ----- From: "Susan Curry" <SusanCurry@xxxxxxx>To: <vip_students@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, July 12, 2007 1:55 PM Subject: [vip_students] Re: help f1hi folks, any help will be appreciated here for help with the f1 help menu.
