Its sometimes hard to know why this can happen, it can be a result of a lot
of factors. I do know that Joe's email address is; joebollard2@xxxxxxxxxx
so if you want to write up a new email and try using this email address to
see what happens.

I replied to an email from joe bollard on monday 13th, but to my confusion i
received a message from qmail-send informing me that the email failed to
deliver, could anyone tell me what happened.
i did control +r to reply and sent with alt+s in the usual manner.
the email is still in my sent box with some others.
any information would be appreciated.
