You can do this wih a formula in excel. I don't use JAWS much lately but I
cannot see how the screen reader could do this since the data is so dynamic.
Would you like to try the excel formula?

Of course, sorry.
So, i have a list of requests which are made to different divisions - culture,
heritage, gaeltacht etc. - and I need to count how many were made to each
devision. So when I filter by devision (because everything is on one excel
sheet), I want to be able to quickly count the number of cells with information
in them.
