Hi Elanor,

1. Go into control panel.
2. Go into "Internet Options".
3. Go to the "Advanced settings" page.
4. Click on the "Reset" button and answer yes or okay if asked as well as
click delete private settings.

This will restore your Internet Explorer 8 to its factory defaults. Click on
close to finish. Restart the PC and go into Internet explorer. You will be
asked to set up IE8 again, just go ahead and do this. When IE8 is back up
and running, uninstall skype completely. Restart the computer and then
reinstall skype. See how things are now.

Paul.

Subject: [vip_students] Skype and Internet Explorer 8

I am using the above, well I wish I was! When I go in to Skype, I am
getting a message that Internet Explorer has caused an error etc. I removed
and reinstalled Skype to no avail. Any ideas please?

Eleanor
