And of course the mobile broadband sim is the same that would work in a mobile
phone anyway but don't be using that particular sim on your mobile phone or it
might cost you more than you bargained for!

  Hi Tony,

yes. That's wireless coverage; you can get 'black spots' in a place
where there's theoretically plenty of it. you can at times get that
situation with mobile phone coverage, too.

  Flor,

As you are possibly aware, the map of 3 or other mobile service
providers sites may not be truly totally accurate!

I had experience in the past; long story!

Yes if one is buying a product such as that then try it where you reside
or/and travel to where you might expect coverage!

That's one of a few reasons why mobile broadband to go folk give us a
  trial period.

In some areas you might find that in one part of your area/house the
signal is great but say bring it to another area and you may be very
  disappointed indeed!

Yes things have come on a lot in that area of things that's for sure.

Acttually I haven't tried Skype on 3 except for the Skype test call but
  it was alright!

  Best,

  Tony

You would think that Sligo is covered, though, as they advertise -
hat - something like 94% broadband, 99.5% coverage in total, of the
population of .ie. I'll shut up now before the seepage of
  out-of-office
messages - most of which come from folk on leave at ncbi.ie ! .
