I bow to your superior knowledge in computerland especially when it comes to
antivirus programmes so could you be so good as to "talk"
us through about AVG and why we should be thinking twice apparently before
"going for it" now?
Is it not as accessible as before?

I have used avast ow for the past 3 years or so and find it very good. I have
so far never fell victim to virus attacks and Avast was always on the ball when
it came to tackleing any potential threats.

On one of my computers I have Norten which came with it really!
I am thinking of uninstalling same and installing something like Avast
(which you mention on the list from time to time)
Could you advise further of this programme as to it's merits or otherwise?
I don't see much mention of AVG now, is it because it is a paid-for programme
now &/or has there been problems associated with it?
Please advise.
