Hi John, Jaws is now acting well again. I go for a Sunday pint and then it sorts itself out in my absence. Thhink every thing is okay except a corner of the laptop seems to be missing now! Run scandisk and defrag. Then try your favourite registry repair tool. You may have to re-install JAWS. Hope you kept the CD-ROMs! Everything else on your laptop seems to be working correctly which says to me the hardware is okay. But the hard disk might have corrupted somefiles when you dropped it.
