Brian, unfortunately Word will always land you back at the beginning when you reopen. But you can type in maybe two stars at the spot you finished at, and when you reopen use the find keystroke to get to your position. Ctrl f, and when it says next just press escape and you are there. Don't forget to erase the stars before you start reading as they will be there next time. a star is shift 8. hope this helps Mike. ----- Original Message ----- From: Brian Butler To: vicsireland@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, May 19, 2008 10:08 PM Subject: [vicsireland] Wav files. Hi all, I wonder can someone help me with two problems. First, is there a way to convert wav files into mp3 files and if so how? Secondly, what is the command required to ensure that the cursor position when closing a word document will remain the same when the document is reopened? Thanks and best wishes, Brian.
