Hi Brian
I can answer your first question.
There is a program called CDex which will convert files from wav to mp3.
You can get more information about how to use this program and get a free
download of it from the website

  Hi all,

I wonder can someone help me with two problems. First, is there a way to
convert wav files into mp3 files and if so how? Secondly, what is the command
required to ensure that the cursor position when closing a word document will
remain the same when the document is reopened?

  Thanks and best wishes,

  Brian.
