I wear hearing aids and I know that audiologists and hearing aid providers use computers and software to ajust the settings on the hearing aid. However, I'm not aware if such software is available to the general public. The person involved would probably be best advised to talk to their audiologist or the practice from which the hearing aid was purchased. He wants to know if anyone is using an ordinary computer to control a hearing aid's frequency? I myself don't know anything about this area but I imagine that the hearing aid may have inbuilt intelligence to interface with a compute.Any help gratefully accepted.Regards,Michael
