Hi I had a phone call from a doctor in Cork whose father has macular generation and is very dependent on his phone, but is finding it increasingly difficult to use. Talks is not an option for him because he is hard of hearing as well. The family have tried a number of phones to see if they provide better contrast, but none of them have been of use. They have spoken to the NCBI and the RNIB and have also tried the Silverphone website in the UK. They would like to find a phone which provides good contrast between the screen and the letters, better definition, as he can still just about use a phone with a magnifying glass. Have you any thoughts on models which would provide better definition, or facilities within existing phones which provide this? They are also considering the EasyHelp phone, but feel it's too simplistic, as he would like - and is indeed entitled - to use all the facilities on a phone. Any ideas. Derbhile
