Yeah you’d have to switch to Eir Mobile and take a contract to get a phone from
them. I went SIM free and so have no contract on the mobile part.
Yep Eir and Meteor are essentially the same network, both owned by Eircom, just
two brands. I get the impression their coverage has improved a lot over the
years, so far so good for me anyway, though I haven’t been outside Dublin as
yet to be fair.

I had come across that page but missed the breakdown of channels so
thanks. A few of them don’t seem to be accurate but most are I think.
If you’re contemplating them, I would say that overall I’ve been happy
with the experience and the price so far, though be aware that their apps,
such as Eir Vision Go for watching TV on a phone or tablet, don’t appear
to be very accessible at all.
