Hi PJ. Actually, I never fooled with that. If you go into weather, it
will ask you for a local destination. I dropped my location there and
it synced my Fire. Perhaps that can help you as well.
Start by tapping on the Weather app on the home page. Then, tap on
Open Navigation Panel. There you can create your weather location. In
fact, you can create more than one with one as default. I created 3.
