Hi Larry. The least expensive I've seen for a 1 TB card is $200 on
Amazon. I'll wait! LOL!
Podcast and RSS apps? There are alot out there. I'd just say try them
and see if they work for you. Maybe someone on the list has one they
prefer. As for RSS, I have installed RSS Reader on my Android phone
because it works for me to check out if my podcasts resolve properly.
My two cents!
By the way, I use the Facebook and Twitter app. Facebook Live,
Messenger both work well.
You can also download the Google Meet app. Done that. You need a
Google account to create a Meeting and invite. However one can also
invite anyone, even those without a Google (Gmail) account. Sweet!
Note on the default Amazon Silk browser. Five years ago it was hit and
miss. But, today I find it works very well. I had side-loaded Chrome
and Firefox earlier. Don't use them anymore on my Fire tablet. Just
Silk.
Might want to look into skills. I have a news skill that will, when
prompted by Alexa will play in order all the news sources I have
added. Don't like that news source today, just tap next.

$400 bucks to spend on a iPhone/iPad, more power to you! I use my 5-year-old
lowly 6 inch 4th generation to listen (just recently) to DNC and Sunday
worship services on Youtube, not to mention the ZOOM app for all of my
communication needs! The NPR News app is great as well. Better than the
installed app on my iPhone/Android phone. With Alexa, I can listen to any
radio station I prefer! Just a few possibilities! All for a $40 bucks
device! Cheaper than my first transistor radio!
If you really want the ability to do text writing easily, get a PC, Mac or
Chromebook! JMHO!
By the way, I still use my 10-year-old Kindle Keyboard to listen to almost
all of my Kindle books! The skinny!
