Hi, Melissa.
I don't know Android well enough to be able to explain the difference between
an accessibility app and an accessibility service but, on most Android devices,
the Talkback screen reader is considered a service and is found under the
Services section of Accessibility. With the Fire tablets Amazon doesn't group
VoiceView under services. In fact, when I attempted to load the Talkback screen
reader from the Play store I believe it was listed under services but it did
not speak when I attempted to load it. I have a feeling that Amazon isn't doing
much with the services category but if someone on this list has information
which can add to or correct my assumptions I'd appreciate being informed.
